The government should not bail out private businesses. I have co-sponsored another bill, Prohibiting Federal Government Ownership of Private Corporations (H.J.RES.57), a Constitutional amendment prohibiting the United States from owning stock in private corporations. Democrats will not allow this bill to come up for a vote.
